APPOINTMENTS & sESSION rATES

Individual 50 minute ~ $125

Couple & Family 50 minute ~ $150

90 minute ~ $190

50-minute sessions tend to work well for most individual clients.

Research and evidenced-based-practices show longer session times increase effectiveness as well as promote session satisfaction for couples and families.

I am not affiliated with any insurance panels. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a detailed invoice you can easily submit for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider to determine eligibility prior to your first session. For clients electing to utilize insurance an administrative fee of $10 is added per session.

private pay vs. insurance…

BENEFITS OF PRIVATE PAY:

There are benefits in not using insurance, especially when it comes to relational work. Insurance companies often establish treatment guidelines which usually include stipulations on the frequency and duration of therapy as well as the types of services provided. As a private pay therapist, I can do the work I love to do without constraints. I can collaborate with clients to build a unique treatment approach specific to their needs and goals. Most importantly, it allows me the opportunity to give my clients the time and attention they might need.

LIMITATIONS OF INSURANCE:

Insurance plans typically do not cover couples therapy. While I believe healthy relationships contribute to healthy people, at this time, many insurance companies do not share this same philosophy. In some circumstances conjoint sessions may be covered by insurance providers. If you intend to utilize your benefits it is very important to ensure eligibility and understand the perimeters around care. I will make every effort to assist you in obtaining reimbursement. Ultimately, you are responsible for all charges at the time of service and for communicating directly with your insurance provider.
